Review: Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Micellar Cleansing Fluid

I was lucky enough to take part in Escentual's #micellarblindtrial last year. As a follow on from that I was given a chance to try out the new kid on the block.

French pharmacy skincare took the beauty world by storm, most notably with Bioderma, and now the Germans are getting in on the action too. Eucerin was started in the late 19th century (History degree coming in use here) by a pharmacist, a dermatologist and a chemist. Which to me sounds like the perfect group to start a skincare brand.

The DermatoCLEAN Micellar Cleansing Fluid promises to be a facial cleanser, waterproof eye make-up remover and toner. And even though I have only used it twice at the time of writing I can safely say that it does all three pretty well. My face doesn't feel tight even though I haven't put moisturiser on yet. I probably would properly rinse my face afterwards but that's because that's what I like to do. But, if I'm feeling lazy I know that I can take all my make-up off with three cotton pads. Win. Also, this is so perfect for mornings.

Is it better than Bioderma? That depends on what you're looking for. Bioderma is great for a pre-cleasne. This great for the full thing. I don't find either to dry out my face. Price wise this is £9.00 for 200ml (currently £6.00 in the 1/3 French Skincare Sale). Bioderma is £9.99 for 250ml (Currently £6.66). So there's not a lot in it!
My plan is to have a big lot of this in my bathroom (as well as the huge bottle of Bioderma I currently have) and then the mini bottles of Bioderma for travelling.

As well as cleansing fluids Eucerin do a whole range of stuff. I also have a sample of Sun Fluid (which is very liquid-y) and part of the Even Brighter range (I believe it's the Concentrate but I don't have it on me #bloggerfail). I'm intrigued by the anti-redness range as that is something I'm suffering with at the moment.

All in all, I really recommend this for everybody. It's formulated for all skin types, including really sensitive ones.

If you want it, go to essential.com now to make the most of the last of the French Skincare sale! Go, go, go.
