Review: Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy

I hadn't bought any nail polish in a while and just couldn't resist. I seem to have an need to buy things in green or blue right now and 'High Stakes' fitted the bill perfectly. Colour Envy is billed as gel-like polish. You don't need a base coat, just two coats of colour and a Diamond top coat. What I quite liked was there was no promise of it lasting a certain amount of time so I didn't get my hopes up for it lasting a week.

It applied really nicely and I loved the colour when it was on. The finish was really shiny. I did find I had some tip wear by day two, possibly not helped by giving the flat a full clean with a lot of scrubbing. I stay it lasted four days before I took it off. But I don't mind that because, like I said, it didn't promise anything. And nail polish rarely lasts that long on me anyway.

I will definitely be buying more of these. They all have gaming or casino related names with makes a nice theme.

What's your favourite colour from the collection?

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy polishes are £6.99 each.
